How Branded EFTPOS Gift Cards Work
Both Single Load prepaid EFTPOS Gift Cards and Reloadable PointsCards are activated just like a bank-issued EFTPOS card.
Reloadable PointsCards: Limit of 1000 Reloadable Cards/12 months
Points are 'loaded' at a value of $1.00 per point. They are activated online via www.activatemycard.com.au
Monthly points uploads are made via the PointsShop™ online system, generating a dollar invoice for the value of the total list of uploads. This is then invoiced by PointsShop™ and upon receipt of payment of (points value + card loading fee) the reload of extra dollars made via the EFTPOS system.
EFTPOS cards are valid for use for 12 months after the initial loading date.
Cards have a life of 2 years before replacement cards are required, with the balance of funds carried over to the new cards.

Corporate Gift Cards
These co-branded EFTPOS Gift Cards are purchased outright in 
the specified quantity preprogrammed to the nominated $ value, then issued as Gift Cards as required.
With large quantity orders cards are held at PointsShop and loaded with specified dollar values as required
Once issued, each card requires activation through: www.activatemycard.com.au
Activation triggers EFTPOS payment of the face value of the card, which is then active by the following business day.
Retailed Gift Cards
Here cards are activated at the checkout by scanning the barcode on the back, which triggers the face value charge and card activation within 24 hours.
Both Fixed Value Gift Cards and Reloadable PointsCards may be designated either for universal acceptance (not ATM's) or be coded outlet-specific.
